Macy Contrail had quite the week. The holiday feast with her extended family of thirty was more than she wanted to deal with. Her waistline felt the overbearing push from too much pumpkin pie and a lot of alcohol to go with it. Being that was about the only way she could handle most of the broody bunch. Then to have her flight canceled due to a wicked snowstorm on her connecting flight several states away, she opted for something she had always wanted to do any ways. A train ride through the countryside, taking her passed several states of snow covered scenery, to take her back home.

By the time she would have gotten a new flight the following day, she would already be half way home. So as romantic as the idea was in her mind, she didn’t think through being stuck on a train with other people, who also may have had a crazy holiday as well. Wondering if this idea would end well.

The train station had an old world charm romantic feel to it. Hard wood benches filled up with people waiting for their train to be ready to depart. Macy cast a glance with piercing blue eyes and caught the eyes of a sexy stranger. He looked the part of sexiest man of the year, with his light-brown hair and light blue-green eyes. However, it was his smile of curiosity from him already looking at her that made her wonder. Was he checking her out or was he just looking in her direction? So she did the normal procedure to see if there was anyone else around her that was of his potential interest. With a glance to her left, she saw two old ladies, one knitting and one playing on her tablet. With a glance to her right in his direction, there was an exhausted mother of three small children who looked like they were all ready to explode. She turned around behind to herself, to see if there was an attractive female whom he was staring at and there were only a few old men discussing baseball stats. So was he looking at her?

When she turned back around and looked directly at him, he had a wickedly sexy smile on his face, and his eyes lit up with laughter as to say, ‘I was checking you out silly’, or so she let herself think.

She watched him get up and walk to a magazine stand where he began to look through a few magazines, but not without turning around twice to cast a smile her way. If she wasn’t mistaken, he was flirting and that held excitement in itself with a man of his looks, muscular build and his holiday navy blue suit, or perhaps he was a business traveler. Either way, he was sexy and just her type.
